Your bearings back in service at 20–30% of the cost of new.
We restore the babbitt layer on turbine, mill, crusher and motor bearings — with our own babbitt production, a heavy machine park and multi-level quality control. Over 20 years of repairs for power, steel, mining and shipbuilding.
What we restore
Most worn babbitt bearings are scrapped when they could be repaired. We re-pour, machine and inspect them to drawing.
Plain & journal bearings
Re-babbitting of turbine, generator, motor, fan and pump bearings — split shells and bushings.

Thrust pads
Restoration of thrust and tilting pads for turbines and rolling-mill thrust assemblies.
Rolling-mill bearings
Babbitt restoration on rolling-mill chocks and bearing housings for steel and aluminium mills.
Mill & crusher bushings
Ball mill trunnion bearings, cone crusher bushings and eccentric bearings for mining and cement.
Connecting rods
Babbitt layer restoration on connecting rods of presses and reciprocating compressors.
New bearings to drawing
When the shell is beyond repair, we manufacture a new babbitted bearing to your drawing or sample.

Incoming inspection
Measurement and defect mapping of the shell.
Strip & tin
Old babbitt removed, base cleaned and tinned for bonding.
Pour
New layer cast from our own babbitt — static or centrifugal.
Machine
Bored and finished to drawing on large-format machines.
Inspect & report
UT bond test, dye penetrant and alloy analysis — report shipped with the part.
Scheduled for scrapping — restored to service

Why restore instead of replace
20–30% of the price of a new part — no new blanks to source.
Fewer consumables — the original shell is the starting material.
Less scrap — lower disposal cost and environmental impact.

Three decades of babbitt
Dnipropromservice LLC is one of Ukraine's leading babbitt bearing repair shops. We kept working through the war and now serve customers across Europe.
Founded by Dr. Sc. V. Mlinarich. First specialisation: plain bearings for cone crushers.
Reorganised. Expanded into coal and gas power plants and cement.
New leadership. Steel mills, ship repair yards and nuclear power plants added.
Full cycle in-house: alloy production, casting, machining and QC. Open to partners and distributors in the EU.
